Warewashing manufacturer Classeq says it is ready to help the hospitality industry get back on its feet after undergoing a strategic review aimed at positioning it for future success.

As part of the review, the brand said it has committed “significant investment” to the development and support of its core warewashing range.

Managing director, Andy Salter, said service engineers have remained on call throughout the pandemic, reinforcing its customer-focused ethos.

“Warewashing is 100% at the heart of Classeq’s operation – we ‘live and breathe it’, it’s where we excel,” he said. “We want our customers, distributors, and partners to know we’re here… we’re in good shape, and we’re ready to help them get back to business.”

Mr Salter said that while no one could have predicted or foreseen the devastation of the Covid outbreak, his team took the opportunity to review its market proposition, recognising the outbreak as a further catalyst for change.

“As part of our review, we took some wide-ranging decisions to strengthen our commitment and support to our customers’ warewashing needs.

“This includes our dedicated and extremely knowledgeable sales team being available to work with our customers, new and old, listening to their needs and understanding what is important to them as we all move towards a new future.

“To that end, we have been working through the pandemic to ensure we can continue to build on our reputation of having a world class, market-leading product that is readily available through our dynamic national distribution network, backed up by service excellence.”

Classeq produces its machines at a state-of-the-art factory in Staffordshire and Mr Salter confirmed that its systems are hygienically safe.

“All our machines have undergone micro-biological testing to reassure our customers, (who are understandably concerned around levels of cleanliness), that Classeq machines leave every utensil, glassware and plate scrupulously clean.

“And we are proud to confirm that all our warewashers meet the highest European standards of cleanliness and have been certified as meeting the tough DINSPeC10534-2012-8 specifications.  This is a great testament to the strength and effectiveness of our Classeq machines.”
